Our client is looking for a talented Project Manager who will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The Project manager will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.Client DetailsOur client is a premier General Contractor located in the Twin Cities, currently involved in numerous high profile projects in the commercial and retail space. They are seeking candidates with extensive ground up construction experience, hungry to learn and willing to grow. Their hope is to find an individual that can arrive and prove themselves worthy of more seniority and responsibility.Apply now to be considered within 48 hours!Description Provide project leadership and establish, implement and support a proactive project safety culture Manage the development and review of bid packages to procure competitive subcontract proposals Manage job-site subcontractor meetings to ensure that the project goals are met Review monthly invoices and oversees documentation and approval needed to ensure timely funding for the project Lead the management of cost reporting including but not limited to contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions to achieve defined project goals Ensure overall financial health of the project and project forecasts Represent our client in the subcontract negotiationsProfile 5+ years of construction experience Strong background ground up construction projects Experience with commercial or retail construction Strong oral and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite The ability to work in a fast paced work environment Ability to work independently and as part of a teamJob Offer Base salary of $90,000-$120,000, depending on experience Performance based bonus potential Fast Tracked career progression Car allowance or company truck Competitive Family Health Insurance Plans Paid Maternity/Paternity leave 401k plan with company contributions Short term/Long term disabilityMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
